After completing a short 3-month computer studies course, Quintine is now ready to join university and further his studies. He will be attending the University of Nairobi to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology. He has applied for financial support from the Higher Education Loans Board and Kenya Kids to facilitate his transition to university. Without this support, he states that he would not be able to join campus due to the high cost of tuition fees, a cost which his parents cannot afford.
“I am very excited to join campus and experience a new stage of life, as well as make friends. I thank the Kenya Kids donors for giving me an opportunity to complete high school. God bless you,” He says.
Quintine’s dream for his future is to continue his studies and pursue a Master’s Degree. He also aims to become a Researcher in the field of Microbiology.
