Become a Volunteer

HOPE worldwide Kenya (HWWK) recognizes and values the contribution made by volunteers since our registration in 1999, to the official launch of programs in 2003 and onwards. We are a member and currently hold the deputy chairperson’s position in the Volunteer Involving Organizations (VIO) network society. We provide opportunities for volunteer engagement towards national development. Volunteers have added great value and have provided priceless input and contribution to HWWK programs and beneficiaries from inception. They have learned from us and we have learned from them. They are an integral part of what we do.

Corporate Partnerships

Over the past few years, HWWK funding has come from various sources that include the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through local funders, Grand Challenges Canada (GCC), The Global Fund through Care International in Kenya and Kenya Red Cross Society. Programs have also been funded by the International Labor Organization (ILO), Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), Walmart Foundation, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation (TCCAF), Shell Oil Products Africa and several other organizations, individual donors, and Trusts.

Public Private Partnerships have also been established with other non–governmental organizations, government agencies, corporate firms, local and international donor agencies and religious institutions.
