
Over the past few years, HWWK funding has come from various sources that include the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through local funders, Grand Challenges Canada (GCC), The Global Fund through Care International in Kenya and Kenya Red Cross Society. Programs have also been funded by the International Labor Organization (ILO), Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), Walmart Foundation, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation (TCCAF), Shell Oil Products Africa and several other organizations, individual donors, and Trusts.
Public Private Partnerships have also been established with other non–governmental organizations, government agencies, corporate firms, local and international donor agencies and religious institutions.
HWWK is a member of the Health NGO’s Network and Volunteer Involving Organizations (VIO) Network Society. We recognize the contribution, especially of local volunteers to the achievement of our mission. Volunteers are engaged in all program sites in the country and equipped to provide direct services to the communities we serve.

Builders Warehouse
Builders Warehouse opens a branch in Nairobi and supports 120 households with food baskets in response to COVID -19 pandemic. HOPE worldwide Kenya together with HOPE worldwide South Africa, Nairobi Christian Church, the local administration and community leaders mobilized the most needy households in Kawangware informal settlement to benefit from the food donations.
A brief ceremony was held on 14th August 2020 at Arise by Grace Center, a community school serving 300 pupils in Kawangware where the households received the food baskets.
Builders Warehouse extends it’s generous support to the school for a total makeover towards creating a conducive learning environment for future generations.
