Mr. Stephen Ogutu Onyagah

Mr. Stephen Onyagah is a Senior Principal Superintendent, Electronics at the State Department of Public Works.

He is a highly motivated, self-driven electrical engineer with about 30 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, 10 years in electrical power design and installations, 8 years in electronic media and public communication, and 12 years in electronic and telecommunication infrastructure consultancy, design, and project management.

Steve holds a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Electronics Option) from the Technical University of Kenya (formerly Kenya Polytechnic). He has trained in various professional courses on strategic leadership development, auditing, and Integrity assurance at the Kenya School of Government, Kenya Bureau of Standards, and Kenya Anti- Corruption Commission, respectively. In 2010, he was recognized for exemplary performance at the Presidency and Cabinet Affairs Office, which enabled the office to attain 3 rd position overall in the Ministries ranking. He previously worked as a Senior Electrical Inspector in the Ministry of Energy and as a Telecommunication Engineer at Computer Telecommunication Ltd.
