He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (M.B.A - Financial Management) from the University of Delhi and received a Citizenship Award for Leadership Qualities.

He has extensive experience in Financial Management working locally and internationally with Chevron Corporation, serving in various levels of leadership from Finance Manager in Kenya and in Uganda to serving in the Finance Global Downstream as Regional Credit & Treasury Manager (SA) for Africa, Middle East & Pakistan (AMEP); Regional Compliance & Optimization Manager for Africa, Middle East & Pakistan (AMEP); Area Finance Manager Central Africa & Islands responsible for Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Rwanda & Reunion Islands.

Other positions served include Chevron Global Audit, Concord, CA, USA, and Cape Town S.A; CORP COMPTROLLER’S, San Ramon, CA, USA – Internal Controls Department; CORP TREASURY, San Ramon, CA, USA; OPCO Support – Americas, San Ramon, CA, USA; Decision Support and Reporting (DSR) – AMEA Regional Office – Singapore.

George is a Member of the Kenya Institute of Management (MKIM) and has previously held various Board of Director positions, including Chevron Tanzania limited and Caltex Rwanda Limited, Nairobi Christian Church, and Cape Town Church of Christ (CTCOC).

George was a member of AFPK Finance Regional Leadership Team until his retirement at Chevron.

His hobbies include soccer, cricket, tennis, and chess.
