He brings to HWWK a vast experience gained in managing CDC, and also USAID funded programs at HWWK with an average annual turnover of US $ 3.5 Million. He is among the founders of HWWK and provides leadership in programs’ development and resource mobilization to sustain the organization.
He has over 10 years experience working with youth, children, and adults in HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health programs. He has undertaken comprehensive training in Behavior Change Communication, Sexual and Reproductive Health and a host of other health-related issues.
A former PricewaterhouseCoopers top student nominee, he benefited from training in accounting, auditing and grants management at the firm. Having trained as an architect, he brings to the team a creative approach to program design and implementation. His broad experience in financial, programmatic and project design, combined with a keen analytical eye helps in providing general oversight to programming and financial bearings of the organization. Kamani holds a Masters in Business Administration from Mancosa—South Africa and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Nairobi.
