Catherine Njoki Mukundi
She has over 10 years experience in HIV counseling and testing work. She is currently the program manager of a project that supports the scale up of combination HIV/AIDS Prevention Services for key populations using Evidence-based, Cost Effective Approaches. She directs the CT services at HWWK, a position that enables her to collaborate with funding partners and Government agencies to facilitate provision of CT services using the different strategies including Stand alone sites, Mobile and Moonlight CT. She offers technical support to the counseling and testing team in the organization.
As a certified Counselor Supervisor, she has offered counseling supervision to CT counselors since 2006. Catherine holds a Bachelors Degree in development studies, project management from Management University of Africa and is certified in General counseling, VCT, Couple HIV counseling and Trauma counseling in Post Rape care, all from Liver-pool VCT Center. She also holds a Diploma in Institutional Management from Kenya Poly-technic, as well as a Higher Diploma in Psychological Counseling from Kenya Institute of Professional Counseling.
