Bridge To Empower Girls In Nairobi (BEGIN) Project
This project provides teenage girls who are pregnant and/or nursing children between the ages 0-3 years living in Mukuru Slum of Nairobi with knowledge and skills using a three-pronged approach that incorporates the scientific ( measurement of development milestones using the ages and stages tool), social ( through sister walks) and economic interventions (vocational and entrepreneurship skills training).
