The Information Technology and Communications department at HOPE worldwide Kenya had the privilege of providing a three month internship to Eunice Kiama, a mass media and communications student from Mount Kenya University. Her industrial attachment which commenced on 6th July to 29th September 2016, exposed her to the real work environment in a communications office and an experience of working with communities in informal settlements and rural areas.

She exhibited flexibility to accommodate the dynamic work environment, had a positive attitude and good people skills.

Her work remains inscribed on our website through the stories she contributed, the lives that were transformed through her engagement with the community and the memories she made with the HWWK family.

The internship ended with a surprise lunch that the ICT team had planned to thank her for her dedication during the internship period and to wish her well on her college graduation and in her future endeavors.
